Our center Beetopia is committed to the conservation of bees through research and education. We aim to be the conduit between research institutions and beekeepers, ensuring that knowledge is transferred both ways and we can all learn from each other. Our focus lies on stingless bees (Meliponini) but we also include honeybees and solitary bees in our operations. We sell high-quality honey of Stingless Bees, sustainably harvested with beekeepers on the slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru. At BEEtopia we base our activities on four pillars: Training: We provide training for sustainable stingless beekeeping in Northern Tanzania. Education: Beetopia is an outdoor classroom that offers educational bee experiences. Research: We collaborate with researchers, universities and institutions around the world and help gaining more knowledge through research facilitation. Apitourism: We invite the global citizenry to visit Beetopia and learn about the smaller things that run our world. Karibuni! Welcome!
