Psychotherapy practice specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship issues and trauma related disorders. I’m passionate about the integration of ancient eastern wisdom/metaphysics around mindfulness into modern western psychotherapy as a tool for deeper understanding of the self and healing, alleviating stress, anxiety and depression. I am dedicated to helping clients improve their lives and achieve self-transformation. This includes learning to cope, manage, overcome and transcend mental health issues. Building mindfulness and emotional awareness is key to understanding how our belief systems and emotions drive our decisions/behaviors. Our sessions will be fully engaged in building healthier thoughts, feelings, emotions, beliefs, values, perceptions, assumptions so that we can reshape our life narrative and see reality differently. Each individual is capable of healing psychological wounds, finding peace and balance, while being centered and present. I use several evidenced based therapeutic modalities which include psychoanalysis, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT), humanistic and existential therapy, mindfulness, meditation, breath work and hypnotherapy. Drawing on these approaches we will create a customized treatment plan to serve your needs. I appreciate the cultural values, life experience and world view my clients bring into therapy. I strive to create a therapeutic environment of non-judgement and acceptance, so my clients can feel free to be open and honest, share, explore, reflect and discover. These are the key elements for therapy to work.
