Bellona Spółka Akcyjna (Bellona Joint Stock Company) is a thriving company with tradition. For almost 60 years we have been ranked as one of the leading publishing houses in Poland. We bring out over 350 new titles every year. Valued for editorial and factual matters, they have won numerous awards, including the prestigious KLIO Award. Bellona is also the publisher of various periodicals. We own bookshops in Warsaw, Cracov, Wrocław and other cities in Poland. Our sales are promoted by our own web bookshop, our own system of distribution and readers’clubs. We also possess large fixed assets comprising mainly the real estate in Warsaw and Cracov, and are co-owners of the private Warsaw Humane Academy with almost 600 students. We participate in all major events of the book trade both in Poland and abroad. We have been exhibiting our titles for years at international book fairs. Among our partners are such reputed and prestigious publishers as Pen & Sword, Osprey, Flammarion, Random House Group Ltd, Cambridge University Press, The Quarto Group, Anova, De Agostini, Amber Books, Herbig, ICA Bokforlag, Rebo Publishers and many others. We also promote Polish literature abroad, making it possible for our authors to have their books published all over the world.
