Founded in 1995, Belsize Architects is a small architectural practice with a reputation for intelligent, elegant and sensitive design. Belsize Architects has a portfolio of critically acclaimed and award winning projects across the residential, education, leisure and commercial sectors in the UK and around the world. Whatever the brief, Belsize Architects brings a sensitive and modern approach to context, creating imaginative and welcoming environments. Belsize Architects’ portfolio encompasses new build projects and interventions to existing buildings, work at every scale from grand historic properties to contemporary apartments, and services from architectural to furniture design. Projects include The Boathouse – a RIBA Award-winning leisure and residential scheme for University Oxford, and The Brassworks – a conversion of a central London factory to residential use for The Church Commissoners. Other clients have included the LSE and the Crown Estate, and current projects include a major student housing development for University College Oxford.
