Beluga Whale Sanctuary

The Beluga Whale Sanctuary, an initiative of the SEA LIFE TRUST, is dedicated to providing beluga whales with a safe and natural home. Established with the support of Merlin Entertainments and Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), our sanctuary is the first of its kind, aiming to transform the care of belugas worldwide. The aims of our Sanctuary are- To provide a more natural life for the belugas in our care - To advance knowledge through research and education - To support protection of belugas in the wild We lead by example, demonstrating that sanctuaries are a viable alternative to traditional facilities.
