Belvoir Training Solutions is a local accredited training provider for the Nottinghamshire area, offering courses aimed at providing information, driving up standards of care and maintaining compliance with Health and Social Care legislation. We are centrally based and easy to access (just off the a46 or the a52) and we provide training at your venue or at our own accredited training centre. The business owner, Lorraine Durrance, has also been running a domiciliary care company since 2011 (Belvoir Homecare). The training delivery staff have 15 years combined training experience between them, as well as over 20 years combined experience working hands on in a variety of care settings. With the sector knowledge and the training experience, who would be better then to provide care related training to others? We do not believe in on-line or workbook based learning. A face to face approach allows interaction, assessments of understanding and a fun learning environment which we believe enhances the learning experience and motivation of staff as a whole. We offer courses from a mandatory level for beginners or informal carers wanting to gain more understanding, right through to advanced level qualifications for the more experienced amongst us. It is hoped that in doing this, our courses cover a broad spectrum and can be tailored to all potential attendees. There is a choice of both accredited courses (to help with career development and staff retention) and non accredited (for compliance). On our courses, staff are not only increasing their knowledge base, but gaining skills and confidence to perform their roles to the best of their abilities.
