Benchers' Hub

This is not just a random group but a home for judges, jurists, lawyers and every other person in the society. It is born out of the quest and search for a platform where umpires can relate and share important pieces of information about the legal profession, case law, their lives as judges, challenges and victories. The life of a judge is like that of a monk but with the advent of social media, there is a shift and they have to tell their stories so that the wrong speculations and misconceptions about them may be watered down. There is a concern in the world about Judges and it is time they give the general public a peep into affairs and challenges, which may affect their offices and professional conduct. As an upcoming jurist and a researcher, I have, in my ways assisted friends who are not in the legal field in answering a few questions and I have been updated too by senior colleagues on the bench. Hence, the reason for this mustard seed of a group called 'Benchers'Hub' on Linkedin which accommodates people from all professions and climes is to tell our stories. Let the world see us and know that we act under limitations and rules. Let the lawyers who come before us know what we like and what puts us off. Let the layman on the streets understand some basic rules of our engagements and understand our boundaries.
