Benchmark is an environmental and cultural resources consulting company offering a wide range of services including wetland construction and restoration; ecological assessment; eco-toxicology; environmental impact assessment; environmental permitting, sampling and analysis studies; habitat assessments; wildlife studies; and cultural resources surveys and permitting. Our staff are a group of highly experienced environmental scientists and archaeologists that have been developing, managing, and conducting environmental and cultural resources projects for more than 30 years. Benchmark scientists specialize in wetland design, creation and restoration; sediment, water and tissue sampling/analysis studies; and habitat assessment, mapping, and mitigation. Our archaeologists specialize in cultural resources field surveys, testing and mitigation studies; historical and archival research investigations; and regulatory and tribal compliance coordination/liaison to allow our clients to conduct work in and around sites of cultural significance. Our team provides this suite of ecological and cultural resources services by teaming with companies and organizations that can provide complementary services such as engineering, geotechnical, analytical chemistry, and planting.
