Bendemeer Secondary School

Bendemeer Secondary School has been nurturing generations of students since 1977, when it first opened its doors at Beng Wan Primary School before moving to its own premises that same year. The school was officially declared open on 5 April 1979 by Mr Sidek Saniff, then Member of Parliament for Kolam Ayer. In 1997, Bendemeer Secondary merged with Whampoa Secondary, bringing together two proud traditions of learning and community. A year later, on 23 May 1998, the school began a new chapter at its current site along St. Wilfred Road. Today, Bendemeer Secondary School stands as a beacon of holistic education - nurturing youths who are anchored in values, dare to aspire, motivate one another, and strengthen their strengths to lead and serve with purpose.
