Bentley Prep

Bentley Prep provides both group and 1-1 online tutoring services for K-12 students. Our highly trained tutors leverage the Socratic approach, in the sense that they seek to draw as much as possible from the student and to impose as little as possible of themselves on the student. They ask questions, but do not give directions. They offer hints, but avoid giving answers. The feedback they provide students, regularly after failure and sometimes even after success, is typically indirect, to minimize the evaluative pressure of the situation. And, when they are at their best, they are superb, producing both high levels of student interest and attention and extensive learning in a quite limited period. We have pioneered a better and more effective method of learning.
