Bergen Challenge

The stu­dent sports fes­ti­val Stu­dentlekene Bergen Chal­lenge (SL BC) gath­ers stu­dents from all over Nor­way to com­pete in a vast vari­ety of sports. SLBC is arranged by vol­un­teer NHH stu­dents (stu­dents from Nor­we­gian School of Eco­nom­ics) and was held for the first time in 2011. It was a mas­sive suc­cess that expe­ri­enced a sub­stan­tial growth in par­tic­i­pant num­bers and pos­i­tive feed­back. In 2018 it was hosted for the fifth time, and more than 600 stu­dents worked together to make Bergen Chal­lenge 2018 a suc­cess. About 2200 stu­dents gath­ered from all over Nor­way to par­tic­i­pate in a large vari­ety of sports. Bergen Chal­lenge is not just a sports tour­na­ment, but an over­all sports fes­ti­val. This means that we also orga­nize var­i­ous cul­tural events, in addi­tion to a spec­tac­u­lar open­ing cer­e­mony and a ban­quet for all the par­tic­i­pants. In Octo­ber 2022, we will orga­nize Bergen Chal­lenge 2022 and stu­dents from all over Nor­way will again gather in Bergen, the sec­ond largest city in Norway. The organization is run by a board of eight people. A leader, and seven section managers that is responsible for each of the following sections; Marketing, Information & Human Recourses, Finances, External Affaires, Events, Culture and Logistics.
