Berlin Pharmaceutical Industry Co, Ltd. is a leading manufacturer and marketer of established pharmaceutical products in Thailand, and is among the top ten companies in the industry. The company was established in 1932, by the late Dr. Chai Chainuvati. Since then the company has steadily grown from its humble beginning in what is now a landmark building in Bangkok’s historic Chinatown. Much of the company’s formative development in later years was shaped by Khun Vanida Chainuvati, the founder’s daughter-in-law, who built a strong organizational foundation and established the company as one of the most respected and valued by the medical community of Thailand. Today the company has two modern manufacturing facilities on the outskirts of Bangkok which are GMP-approved (Good Manufacturing Production) and are also certified with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 (QC) accreditations as well as Good Storage and Distribution Practices (GSDP). We import our active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) from Canada, France, and India. The vast majority of the products we manufacture are used for the treatment of cardio vascular (CV), metabolic, and gastro intestinal (GI) diseases and ailments. After decades of specializing in these key therapeutic areas, the company is now aggressively expanding into other disease segments to bring a wider range of products that are of high quality and affordable prices to the patient. A number of products the company has launched in the past and plans to launch in coming years are formulated at its internal R&D unit. The company is also forging partnership and other collaborations with international companies to speedily bring new products to the market.
