About beside-u: Since 1979, the Lee Family has been in the handbag crafting business creating premium quality bags. In 2005, the Lees saw an impact of how a tube station in London provided shelter for people in WW II. With that in mind they wanted to create something that would shelter your valuables, protect the items by your side, and most of all always stay by you. With this inspiration, the Lees established the brand beside-u in 2005 to continue their foundation of 38 years of craftsmanship, excellence, and dedication to quality bags. In continuing their pursuit of being the best, the family brought their design headquarters to the United States. Today all design is accomplished in California.
