BEST Barcelona at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) is one of the 13 founding members of the Board of European Students of Technology, better known as BEST. BEST is a non-profit and non-political organisation whose principal aim is to bring closer students, companies and universities. After 35 years of history, now counts with +80 Local BEST Groups (LBGs) in +30 different countries. The mission of BEST is to provide the students complementary education, helping them to become more internationally minded, know better other cultures and develop their teamwork capabilities in a culturally diverse environment. Aiming this, BEST Barcelona organizes events, courses and competitions in the technological field, among them, the biggest European engineering competition, EBEC.
