Beta Power Engineering was established in 1974 and has gained over 30 years trading experience in the power transmission field. Our scope ranges from the supply of new electric motors, gearboxes, inverters and control panels to the rewind, repair and refurbishment of free issue rotating equipment and control gear. With continued success Beta Power Engineering expanded in 1985 taking over a manufacturing facility, allowing us to meet the requirements and needs of our customers in offering bespoke ‘Special Motors’. Such requests include extended, reduced and threaded shafts to custom machined output flanges. Beta Power Engineering are proud members of the ABB Motor Authorized Value Provider network, this being the authorised distribution route for ABB motors and ABB drives. Our stock holding of ABB motors and drives is one of the largest in the UK. We also have a direct link into ABB’s stock in Germany, Spain and Sweden allowing us to pool into stock of more than motors. We are also the UK build centre for Hydromec gearboxes in the UK. Engineered with quality in mind, shipped with the fastest timing on the market, Hydro-Mec products are meant to set a new standard in terms of modularity and endurance. Our products are definitely not suitable for customers looking for poor quality or cheap price. Our skilled technicians produce top quality gearboxes.
