Beth Gilpin Consulting (BGC) based out of Waterbury, Vermont, helps employers attract, engage and retain the right people, and align their HR practices with their values and desired workplace culture. BGC works with both for-profit and non-profit organizations in four main areas: • Executive Search for a diversity of positions and industries • People-related practices and policies, such as: o Employee Handbooks – creating and/or revising to align with company values, desired workplace culture, and applicable employment laws o Performance Management – User-friendly and effective practices and tools o Employee Engagement and Retention – Evaluating important touchpoints and supervisory skills needed to navigate the entire employee life cycle o Total Compensation – Benchmarking with relevant industries and companies • Consulting on a range of hiring topics, including: o Employment branding o Compelling job descriptions o Effective vetting processes With 25+ years’ experience providing HR, executive search and general recruiting services to Vermont growth companies and non-profits, Beth Gilpin is passionate about helping employers find, attract and retain the right people at all levels of an organization; navigate the complex world of HR and employee relations; and simplify and/or create processes, policies and procedures aligned with the organization’s values and supportive of the desired workplace culture. Before running her own consulting practice, Beth served as HR Manager for Rossignol Ski Company and Skis Dynastar; Merrell Footwear and Karhu/Trak Skis; and Vermont Country Cyclers (d.b.a. Travent and Four Seasons Cycling), and served as a Senior HR and Executive Search Consultant at Gallagher, Flynn & Company, LLP. Beth keeps a foot in the outdoor product/activity side of her career by introducing others to the beauty of backcountry skiing through weekend clinics at Bolton Valley Resort in Bolton, Vermont.
