In Indian culture girls/women are considered like a goddess. In ancient India girls kept a high and respectable position in society. They used to rule the empires; they fought in wars as a warrior. Even they had right to choose their grooms for their marriage in an event called "Swayamvar". In today's scenario situation has been changed completely. The whole girls/women community has been divided into two parts and these two parts are completely different from each other. One part includes girls/women living in rural area and backward area and are poor. They have very restricted freedom. Most of them are uneducated and they are suffering with so many miseries. They become victims of child marriage, dowry molestations and some other such cases. Some girls are killed even before their birth in the womb of their mother. These all happened because of lower mentality of some people of our society.
