Better Aging and Policy Consulting is a consulting firm that seeks to improve the quality of care and quality of life for older adults and the paid and unpaid caregivers who provide services and supports to them. Our focus areas include aging, long-term services and supports, workforce, and policy. We are a NYC-certified Women-Owned Business Entity (WBE). We were founded by Allison Cook in 2021. Her experience spans directly providing long-term care, helping patients navigate their health coverage, implementing policies that improve our long-term services and supports system, and advising AgeTech start-ups on business opportunities. This varied background provides her with unique insight into our system and how to improve it. Our services focus on aging and long-term services and supports, including: • Policy, qualitative, and quantitative research; • Education, publications, and advocacy; and • Business guidance based on the current policy environment.
