Better On A Stick

Hi! My name is Becky, and I’m the owner, baker, and artist behind Better on a Stick. Our story began back in 2009, when a good friend of mine sent me a link to Bakerella (credited with being the original creator of the cake pop), with a note saying, “This looks like something you would do!” Having a formal education in art, and a love of all sweet treats, I was immediately intrigued. A couple weeks later, I had an opportunity to make them for a holiday party and, as I’m sure you can guess, they were a huge hit… and I was officially hooked on the accolades I received! I started making them for my own friends and family, but soon I had folks asking how much I would charge to make cake pops for their events. As the years have passed, I’ve made pops for so many people and so many events, and each time I feel honored that families have trusted me to be a part of their milestones, their memories, their moments of celebration. With the support of my husband, I decided to formalize the business in 2020, and I’ve enjoyed exploring everything related to owning my own business… from marketing to accounting to packaging to gourmet recipes… and everything in between. My handcrafted cake pops are created in my home with exceptional care and attention to detail, and they make the perfect, unique, bite-sized treat for birthdays, holidays, graduations, showers, and even everyday indulgence.
