Betterbin makes it easier for consumers to properly recycle and compost. Betterbin’s proprietary database of product-specific, location-dependent disposal instructions powers a web app for consumers and an API database integration for grocery retailer and delivery apps that gets users the real-time information they need to correctly dispose of materials based on local guidelines. This means we can tell a resident in Wausau, WI, an Airbnb occupant in Austin, TX or a student on the University of Michigan campus if the packaging in their hand is acceptable (and how to properly prepare it) in their local recycling or composting program.
