Bettridge Centre

A Centre for excellence in Sport and the Arts: this community run facility offers a wide selection of activities for the whole family. Facilites include; The main hall which is licensed to seat 300 people. It accommodates 3 full size badminton courts plus a superb, professionally equipped stage. There is a second smaller hall (1 full size badminton court) offers a great space for smaller social occasions, theatrical productions, business meetings etc. This hall also has Cinema facilities. We also have an upstairs lounge which is suitable for small functions c/w dance floor, kitchen facilities and small utility area. All of this is supported by changing facilities, toilets and showers. The centre is also fully equipped for disabled access. Sport: We offer numerous sporting activities within our two halls; including Fitstars, badminton, indoor football, netball, Choi kwon do and many more. If we don't offer the sport you want, talk to us: we may be able to make arrangements to accommodate. The Arts: We offer superb theatrical facilities and actively support our local thespians, both junior and senior. We also host a number of professional productions with the support of NEAT (North East Arts Touring). Check out our facebook page for details of our current programme Community and Meetings: The Bettridge Centre offers a superb range of facilities for meetings, training courses, functions and events of all sizes including children and adult birthday parties, anniversaries, christenings and wedding receptions. We also have Coastal play twice a month on Saturdays offering soft play sessions and parties. The Bettridge Centre is the Child Company of Newtonhill Community Hall Association (NCHA). NCHA is a registered charity in Scotland - SC002063.
