Beyond Steel is a technology company focusing on composite body structures & components for land-based vehicles: cars, buses, trucks, 2-wheeler, 3-wheeler, railway, defence. Our composite 3D components allow for - mass reduction as great as - 84% below steel assemblies - 50% below aluminium structures - cost-competitive with mild steel assemblies in India, a cost-critical market We achieve this by using only or mostly glass-fibre long-fibre reinforcements using our 3D technology and expertise. We have been working with Tier suppliers & commercial vehicle OEMs in India developing structures to support their mass reduction targets of electric vehicles, countering the mass increase & hence cost increase of vehicles. Our technology allows a step change in automotive structures and allows automotive engineering teams to rethink challenges as they develop new vehicles. This includes assembly sequence of the complete vehicle. Part count is reduced - car body from 9 parts, base don modular corners that don't allow intrusion - truck cab from 12 parts Complete vehicle structures can be manufactured with CAPEX as low as 1/30th that of steel body equivalents- 7 robots for complete body structure assembly at high volume Other structures include- HV battery cradles (LCV, Bus, mining truck)- wind deflectors for CVs - Load bodies for LCV - truck-ancillaries
