BGC Asphalt & Quarries commenced trading in 1992 and is a division of BGC (Australia) Pty Ltd. The BGC Group is privately owned with a turnover >$3.2 billion and has approximately employees. BGC Asphalt & Quarries has been in operation for over 30 years, supplying asphalt and Quarry products in the Perth metropolitan area. We also operate in regional and remote parts of WA utilising mobile asphalt plants. We commissioned a new asphalt plant in Hazelmere in September 2016, with the latest state of the art technology increasing our manufacturing capabilities to 240 tonnes per hour. These facilities can produce a variety of mixes including SMA, PMB, MRWA and coloured asphalt efficiently and to the highest standard to satisfy our customer expectations. BGC Asphalt & Quarries also operates one of the few NATA accredited mobile asphalt testing laboratories in Australia, so that asphalt testing and coring can be performed onsite. In addition to standard asphalt testing and quality control the BGC Asphalt NATA accredited laboratory is also engaged with Curtin University on several R&D projects. These include, recycling opportunities and standardisation of analysis of results across different laboratories.
