With the equipment solutions from BHS Intralogistics, paper rolls are transported autonomously from the roll storage to the Roll Handover system (RHS), which can be extended with the automatic peeling kit to operate as the iPrep®. The iPrep® ensures flawless paper roll preparation by automatically removing damaged layers, guaranteeing smooth and uninterrupted production. A throughput of up to 25 rolls per hour delivers peak performance and smooth plant operation. Once prepared, the roll is transferred in optimal condition to the reel stand via iShuttle®. With a load capacity of 4.4 tons and a footprint of just 1470 mm x 1865 mm, the iShuttle® navigates even the tightest spaces where forklifts would struggle, ensuring safe, reliable, and fully automated roll handling.
