BIG CHEESE PUBLISHING LTD was set up by Eugene Butcher in 1996 to launch BIG CHEESE magazine, the groundbreaking youth music title that published for 21 years. In it's time it was the first magazine to have bands like Green Day and My Chemical Romance on the cover in the U.K. Big Cheese publishing also launched the indie music magazine LOUDER THAN WAR that ran for 3 years. In 2010 Eugene launched VIVE LE ROCK magazine which is now the worlds leading punk and rock and roll magazine and also ran the VIVE LE ROCK AWARDS which will happen again in April 2023. VIVE LE ROCK laso publishes special Annual editions on subjects like Post Punk and Glam rock.In 2013 Big Cheese publishing launched the twice a year DOWN FOR LIFE magazine, a magazine In 2020 Big Cheese publishing launched the quarterly FISTFUL OF METAL magazine, the new bible for all things hard and heavy metal.
