In September 2022 Big Giant Donut Inc.(BGD) announced its acquisition of QSAToolworks’ Helix programming system. As a No-Code database programming solution founded in 1983, Helix is the epitome of a technology launched decades ahead of its time. Recently, the Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) software market has exploded, with a wide range of products now available that serve countless industries. But when it comes to flexibility, scalability, and ease of use, nearly all these products fall short of what Helix has offered for nearly 40 years. Over the next two years BGD aims to completely update the Helix suite of products for the 21st century: rewriting code, updating to a browser-based interface, reimagining the UI/UX, and vastly increasing API and plug-in options to meet the needs of businesses and individuals seeking a true No-Code solution for the rapid prototyping and deployment of apps specifically designed for their unique needs.
