Big Mama Kayak

Big Mama Kayak is a business with factory and offices based in Italy, directed by Luigi and Sara. We specialise in making kayaks to market leading standards. In fact, our kayaks are renowned for being long-lasting, which is why they’re the number one choice for Italy. Trough expeditioning and everyday use, Luigi became aware of the limitations of the kayaks currently on the market and began creating his own designs which he has manufactured since 2012. Luigi’s kayaks have not only benefited from his own expertise, they have also been tried and tested in severe weather conditions and extreme temperature. We’ve been in the game for many years, so have unchallenged knowledge when it comes to designing, building kayaks. If you need any advice on Big Mama or generally about kayaks, at any point, get in touch and we’ll do our best to put you on the right path. Skipping forward though the years, Big Mama was the first Kayak manufacturer in Italy to use pedals. We have a wide range of kayaks available, so there is a kayak for everyone no matter their abilities and we’re proud to be able to offer truly original designs. Today a whole range of kayaks are available, each designed with specific needs in mind, which overall cater for a wide spectrum of kayakers. Here at Big Mama, we are not your average business. We are passionate about what we do, and we want you to feel that passion every step of the way.
