Big Picture Films was created in June 2011, with the objective of distributing audiovisual works, leaving the group of professionals with extensive experience in the sector. From September 2011, begins to distribute the Theatrical catalog of 20th Century Fox for Portugal and Portuguese-speaking African countries. From April 2014, begins to distribute the Theatrical catalog of Sony Pictures to Portugal and Portuguese-speaking African countries. It is the aim of the Big Picture Films develop appropriate marketing strategies for each of the films it distributes in order to better inform the general public.
