Bijou De Pied

Bijou de Pied is an ethical brand of beaded sandals, designed in Paris and handmade in Lebanon by a team of hardworking women. Bijou de Pied was initially created in by Maryse Hatem and had to close its doors in 2011. Maryse, with the support of her daughters, slowly started to revive the brand in the course of 2019. Maryse Hatem is not only the founder of BIjou de Pied, but she is the designer as well. She creates and designs every pair of sandals, making each and every one of them unique and thought to the very last detail. The sandal is completely handmade, from the confection of the sole to the beaded work, and every pair takes up to 10 hours of handwork by our team of skillful artisans. Bijou de pied is designed by women for women.
