Bikes For The World

The mission of Bikes for the World is to work with business and the public in the United States to collect valuable but unwanted bicycles (and parts, tools, & accessories) and deliver this material at low cost to community development programs assisting the poor in developing countries. We enable individual donors to put old bicycles to good use-and in the process often making physical and emotional space for acquiring a new bicycle which they will ride more, and more often. At the same time, we provide individuals, service organizations, and businesses with opportunities for rewarding and educational community service, benefiting disadvantaged people and the environment around the globe.
