Bin Yuan Capital Limited(the "Company") is a boutique asset management company in Hong Kong, licensed by the Securities and Futures Commission ("SFC") on 17th December 2012 to carry on Type 9 (asset management) regulated activites. It is also registered as investment advisor under U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC") on 17th January 2014. The core team members of Bin Yuan Capital comprises the original team from GE Asset Management (‘GEAM’) led by Ping Zhou. During Ping’s 17 years tenure at GEAM, most recently as Senior Vice President and Greater China Managing Director, the team managed over US$5bn across three funds – GE Emerging Market Strategy, China H Share Strategy, and China A Share Strategy. China H Share Strategy achieved an annualized return of 24% over 8.5 years ending 2010 while China A Share Strategy produced 37%(NB 30% outperformance vs. the benchmark) in cumulative returns since its inception in April 2007. Bin Yuan Greater China Master Fund (the "Fund") invests in public equities, and deploys an active, disciplined research-driven process with a time-tested proprietary stock selection model. The investment model combines both quantitative and qualitative analysis underpinned by in-depth fundamental analysis. The Company's bottom-up approach includes, but not limited to the implementation of the following methods: company visits, network and channel checks, financial statement analysis, industry value chain analysis and the Porter Model. Bin Yuan Capital Limited has a strong commitment to compliance and risk control. It adheres to the highest degree of investment and regulatory standards. Finally, all investment professionals working for the Fund are required to be CFA charter holders.
