BioCOS Life Sciences private limited company registered under Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) India and head office at Bangalore, India. From start itself BioCOS has been recognized for its R&D potential in the field of computational Life Sciences and could forge collaborations in various R&D areas of Life and Biomedical Sciences with prominent scientists and research institutions such as university Lyon France, ACTREC Mumbai, Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore, Jawaherlal Neharu Center for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) Bangalore, National Institute of Immunology (NII) New Delhi to mention few. Company has R&D collaborations in India and outside the country in various research areas of prominent national and international importance such as Cancer, Malaria, Diabetes and Genomics. Over the past few years, BioCOS has applied its scientists and engineers’ multi disciplinary strengths in computational research in the areas like Systems Biology, Network Biology, Next generation Sequencing, early biomarker detection, algorithms for imaging and cardiovascular disease monitoring for hand held devices. Today we are the team of Scientists, Engineers and Applied Mathematicians executing and researching multiple R&D activities such as in Cancer ( University Lyon France and ACTREC Mumbai), Diabetes (Past- Sanctioned ICMR grant and in European Union(FP7) Collaborator), Malaria ( collaboration with JNCASR Bangalore and NII New Delhi), piRNA and various contract based research programs such as in the areas of Chip-Seq, nucleolin, P53 and P300 related R&D. BioCOS also has strong R&D projects and programs being executed internally in the areas of biomedical Image Processing, Proteomics and Metabolic Syndrome Diseases. BioCOS’s focus is to develop and facilitate/ participate in the R&D areas of computational platforms and solutions relevant to diagnosis, prognosis and therapy of various human diseases such as Diabetes, Malaria and Cancer.
