BioD is a start up dedicated to offering the best range of compostable disposables to businesses and individuals in the Middle East. It is owned and founded by Lamis Harib; founding director of NUMU, a non profit green program in the UAE advocating green design and biotechnology in the Middle East. The company’s original inspiration came when realizing the UAE’s extent of being incredibly behind in biodisposable alternatives and material awareness. As a designer with structural packaging experience, Lamis also offers free consulting to new customers wanting to learn more about greening their business with BioD products and affiliated services. 20-30% of BioD’s profits go to growing and sustaining NUMU’s projects. We also direct any affiliate fees we would be getting from featuring services to creating reduced rates for our customers in order to catalyze our mission and achieve our greater goals.
