Recycling is an opportunity for a better tomorrow. The challenge we want to meet is to maximise the use of the waste that ends up in the environment and process it so that it can be reused as a full-value product. Our aim is to get close to the European leaders' level of almost 100% conversion of landfill materials to be recycled. We want to show that clever management of the plastic that surrounds us from all sides, especially PET, makes a real difference in reducing landfill and saving raw materials. With our pioneering PET recycling project, we prove that we tackle topics challenging for other European companies. We are demonstrating that plastic, and PET in particular, is an excellent material for reuse while retaining all the characteristics of a full-value product. We also fit in with current trends, which, due to increasingly higher prices and at the same time more difficult availability, require the search for alternatives for obtaining raw materials for production. Recycled raw materials also mean a reduction in CO2 emissions (by recycling 1 tonne of PET bottles, we save 1.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions).
