Bioinovar

Bioinovar Laboratory, founded in 1991, is a research and innovation center focused on microbial biotechnology. Initially dedicated to studies on microbial proteolytic enzymes, Bioinovar has expanded its activities and currently develops innovative bioproducts for the cosmetics, bioenergy, agriculture, food, and medical/pharmaceutical sectors. The laboratory is actively involved in human resource training and innovation promotion, and has organized the Biotechnological Innovation Fair for several years in partnership with the Oswaldo Cruz Institute. Bioinovar has solid experience in Research, Development, and Innovation (R&D&I), carrying out institutional and government-funded projects, as well as collaborations with companies such as Petrobras, Shell, Bioelements, and Beleza Natural. Its leading technological platforms include biopolymers, microbial enzymes, biopigments, biosurfactants, and agricultural bioinputs. Bioinovar also provides specialized biotechnological services for academia and industry.
