Biosphere Studio

Biosphere studio was born during the pandemic and is a documentary project that starts from the need to show hidden places in Sicily. The island has the highest biodiversity indices in the Mediterranean and represents a unicum of environmental heterogeneity. The idea is driven by the desire to raise public awareness of the importance of conserving the last remaining relics of natural habitat, which have escaped the prying eyes of man. In these hardly accessible places there are still endangered species that struggle every day for survival. Years of exploration of the territory have convinced us that today more than ever, it is appropriate to show people these realities and the processes that are determining their disappearance. Given the ineffectiveness of the bodies responsible for the control and management of the territory, BS aims to highlight the enormous naturalistic riches that we risk losing, raising public awareness of human actions that compromise the delicate balance of ecosystems.
