Birth Day Presence, the premier provider of Childbirth Education and Doula Services, has served over six thousand expectant and new families in the NYC area since 2002. We hand-select the best childbirth education techniques and practices to prepare parents-to-be for the journey ahead. With constant referrals from the best OBs and Midwives in NYC and with Studios in Park Slope, SoHo, and satellite locations throughout the city, we are proud to be the most trusted provider of community and education for the childbearing year and beyond. Co-Directors Jada Shapiro & Anna Merrill use their experience as mothers, educators and doulas to help the families they serve. The doulas we are affiliated with are DONA International and CPR certified. Our Educators are Lamaze, CEA/MNY, and Birthing From Within certified. Birth Day Presence is also proud to have created and administered the Bellevue Hospital Birth Center Volunteer Doula Program, which, for five years, assisted over 500 underprivileged women per year through their childbearing experience.
