Bishop Flaget School

Since 1837, Catholic education in Chillicothe has strived to meet and exceed the continuing educational needs of the community. A pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade school, Bishop Flaget focuses on providing a stellar academic education in a Christ-centered environment. Bishop Flaget School strives to prepare our students to meet the demands of our ever-changing global society with high standards, talented and dedicated teachers, volunteer and community support, innovative technology, and a supportive environment grounded in faith. Bishop Flaget School is open to students of all faiths. As we are part of a larger Christian community in which our similarities far outweigh our differences,we welcome our brothers and sisters to join us in our faith journey as we help our students to build values that will help them face the challenges of a lifetime. Bishop Flaget School is the parish school of St. Mary and St. Peter Parishes of Chillicothe, Ohio. Bishop Flaget School is fully accredited through the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association*. Bishop Flaget is governed by our administrative team made up of Father Lawrence Hummer (St. Mary), Father William Hahn (St. Peter), and Principal Laura Corcoran. Our school advisory board works cooperatively in an advisory role with the administrative team.
