Established in 2001… a good haircut was expensive; an affordable one was bad. we changed that. in portland, or… we love art, music, and good beer. it is the perfect home base as we grow nationally. by some decent humans… we’re minority owned & women / lgbtq+ led and staffed. that care about hair… we’re real, real serious about making you look good. & strive to do good… we regularly give back to lots of non-profits. while having a good time… we know how to have fun. because community makes us… we’re all about celebrating our differences. who we are. we’re here to empower you to be whomever you want to be, judgement free. also, we’re named after a dog. bishop was our founder’s st. bernard / rottweiler mix.
