Biskit Controls is an Electrical SME, based in Thornhill, Stirling, Scotland. The company is also carrying out the further development of the patented,innovative technology which removes gasses from fluids, this improves the heat transfer within a central heating boiler. Called the Hydro-Genie System, it is significantly ahead of anything in it’s field, in providing retro fit, low carbon solution, for wet heating systems, that reduces carbon emissions and running costs. Initial tests back in 2014 reduced the fuel used by a gas-fired heating system in a 3 bed home by 49.8%. Now in the Second Pase of ongoing real world trials with the Energy Catapults Living Lab the drive to help fight climate change takes another step forward, to gain more data and provide strong empirical evidence to significantly impact the drive to lower carbon emissions, reduce fuel poverty in the home home & commercial sectors. The technology enhances the performance of all boilers using gas, oil, LPG, electric, heat pumps, & CHP engines.
