Bismillah Airlines, established in 1997 (ICAO: BML & IATA ICH: BH-256) is the first International Airline of Bangladesh in the private sector, holding AOC#9 under Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) for International and Domestic Schedule & Non-scheduled Cargo operations. BML operates under Part-M supervision and Part 145 Aircraft Maintenance Organization (AMO) for its own aircraft up to C-check and 3rd party aircraft for Line Maintenance for all wide and narrow-bodied aircraft with foreign joint venture holding EASA Part 145. BML holds the designation from the Government of Bangladesh as cargo carrier to perform scheduled flights with wide body aircraft to China, India and Hong Kong from Bangladesh. BML is the first airline in Bangladesh to get CCAR-129 approval from CAAC (Civil Aviation Administration of China) in 2006 around the same time BML achieved the membership of IATA International Clearing House (ICH) and MITA. BML can do self-ground & cargo handling at all airports of Bangladesh and have the license to do refueling at CXB (Cox’s Bazar).
