BIsquared is a “teaching-led consulting” company, started in Geneva in 2013, with the mission to make self-service analytics accessible to all the companies, big or small. Analytics and Visualization are two areas which hold a lot of potential for adding value to businesses. We combine the best of both these areas to help our clients to get better insights from their data. Very few analytics companies understand visualization and vice-versa. Even those who understand these 2 areas are not able to connect them with business needs. Our humble aim is to connect Analytics and Visualization with business needs. We have been fortunate to have the best and the biggest companies in the world as our clients – Unilever, WHO and Apollo Hospitals (India). But our skills are equally helpful even for small businesses. We work with a number of small companies who are innovative thinkers in their business areas. We have also been blessed to work with NGOs through pro bono consulting. Teaching-led Consulting - How do we do it? • Identify an important business need that can be solved with better or quick access to information • Create a one-page Business Data Model to capture the key elements of the entire business process • Start with a Proof-of-Concept (POC) • Once business value is established, conduct first-level training with the aim to enable business users for self-service reporting • Provide one-on-one coaching to help users to build the reports/dashboards they really need • Provide consulting to help in data preparation/data cleansing or in addressing any complex requirement
