In 1985, Restaurant De Pimpernel opened its doors in Hoofddorp. Over the years it grew into a famous Restaurant due to its French cuisine. In our restaurant you can enjoy French dishes and changing specialties. We would like to let you dine at our Restaurant as an experience in a homely atmosphere. The red Pimpernel The Pimpernel is a flower and belongs to the rose family Rosacea, therefore also the bunches of roses in our restaurant. During the French revolution in the 18th century, there was a mysterious Englishman called the "Red Pimpernel". At the risk of his own life, he freed nobles and smuggled them to England, disguised with different masks. He marked the place where he freed noblemen by leaving roses behind.
