It is the brainchild of Mark Gautier, who had combined his heritage (his father was a French chef, and Mark has spent decades refining his repertoire of French regional dishes for everyday eating), and experience (he worked extensively in both France and the UK at all levels, from brasseries to Michelin-starred restaurants), to create a restaurant that reflected both his love of French cuisine and his respect for its traditions. Now run by Guy and Liana - Marks children, who’ve inherited his culinary skills – Guy and Liana are now bringing the Gallic classics to a whole new audience. From the richest Soupe a l’Oignon to the creamiest Pommes Purees aux Truffes, this is food that reflects a lifetime’s passion, presented simply and authentically.
