Bitesize Battles is a podcast dedicated to exploring history's most iconic periods through the battles that shaped them, told in short, bitesize stories. Listened to in 42 countries around the world, it is founded, run and voiced by me - Andrew MacKenzie. I have always been fascinated by history - the story of us, then. And it has always struck me that while history has been shaped by politics, culture, society, science, philosophy, disease, technology and much more, it has so often been war and savage battles which have proven to be history's hard, handbrake turns. The world we live in and the lives we lead have been shaped by human conflict over millennia. I tell those stories.
