Black Borders

BLACK BORDERS [BXB] is an Atlanta-based slow fashion clothing brand founded by Marion Maynor. BXB was created to serve the needs of marginalized communities through inclusive design, social and environmental responsibility, and accessibility. In November 2019, BXB began out of a 190sq/ft sewing studio with the hopes that BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities could be served and uplifted by the fashion industry. The goal of BXB is to design for the characteristics that make us unique in order to promote body positivity. Through gender-neutral designs, customizable fit options, and sliding scale pricing, BXB encourages shoppers to buy consciously, embrace their individuality, and build trust with the brands they choose. With Black Borders, you don't fit the mold, you are the mold. All designing, patternmaking, sizing, sewing, and marketing are done in a one woman-shop.
