Black Designers Ignite

Black Ignite is about public speaking and creative storytelling. We are cultivating community and igniting change through public events, workshops, and design initiatives. Categories of Impact: Storytelling - a commitment to share stories of real people doing great things in our communities, promoting their work and their story. Unity - a commitment to collaboration and unity through sharing space (events) and taking on social initiatives (tech for good). Mentorship - a commitment to make mentorship more accessible, engaging, and reciprocal through partnerships and community initiatives Access - a commitment to provide access to people, information, opportunities, and income generation within our communities + beyond. We believe design is our weapon. Love is our language. Unity is our power. Our collective is building a platform with the purpose of solving problems within our communities, and bringing together passionate people to create lasting change and unity.
