Mission: Our mission is to empower, support, and amplify the voices of black men working in the field of behavior analysis. We are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable community that promotes personal and professional growth, collaboration, and leadership among black men in behavior analysis. Vision: Our vision is to create a future where black men are celebrated, represented, and empowered as leaders and influencers in the field of behavior analysis. We envision a profession that embraces diversity, cultivates inclusivity, and actively promotes equity at all levels. In our envisioned future: 1. Representation and Leadership: Black men are widely represented in all areas of behavior analysis, including academia, research, practice, and leadership positions. They serve as role models, mentors, and advocates, inspiring future generations of black men to pursue and excel in the field. Equitable Opportunities: Black men in behavior analysis have equal access to educational and professional opportunities. They are supported by inclusive policies and practices that recognize and address the systemic barriers they may face, ensuring fair and equitable treatment throughout their careers. Collaboration and Partnership: BMBA actively collaborates with industry stakeholders, organizations, and institutions to create meaningful partnerships and drive change.
