Founded over 30 years ago as Black Walnut Software by a senior staff software developer for the Earth Resources Technology Satellite (ERTS) program, later named LANDSAT. Original focus was software programming for commercial and public works (non-DOD) remote imaging, graphic information systems (GIS) and data-rich graphic analysis. Scope grew to include development for commercial and enterprise applications ranging from printing graphics to proprietary and open source UNIX/LINUX applications and kernel drivers. Name change to Black Walnut Solutions - LLC in 2009 reflects expansion of our team and expertise. We assess client needs and deliver business solutions, especially those leveraging Software as a Service (SaaS) to provide critical IT infrastructure for dispersed and virtual project teams, and for improving supply-chain (multi-company) accountable communications and operations.
