Early in my career, I interviewed with a large advertising agency whose company’s mandate was to “embrace the grey”. While I agree it is important to make sense out of the unknown – to me, this concept didn’t seem quite right. I believe there is a right and wrong, a better and worse… a black and white. Little did I know this was a defining moment for me. This thinking has always stayed with me and over the years has come to represent my life in more ways than one.
